I was born in Viveiro (Lugo), in 1958. I obtained the Diploma in Business Studies, in 1979, the College of Business Studies of A Coruna. In 1981 I graduated in business administration at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Santiago de Compostela.

That same year I joined the table teaching at the University of Santiago de Compostela in the College of Vigo, as Assistant Professor. In 1990 the achievement of Doctor Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Santiago.

Two years later, I get a place of University Professor at the Department of Business Management at the University of Vigo. Since 1997, I am Professor of business at the same Department. Along all these years teach multiple subjects, always related to the Business Management,the Organization of Business, Business Strategy, Technologic Innovation and Management of Operations Production at the Faculty of Economics and Business Management, at the College of Business Studies at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering and the Higher Technical School of Mining Engineering.

Is also part of the box and professors from many Masters Graduate Courses, organized by different universities (Vigo, Santiago de Compostela, A Coruna, Alicante, Oviedo, Burgos, Carlos III de Madrid, Rovira i Virgili, ...).With regard to research, always worked on issues related to the production operations management and technological innovation, leading many Doctoral Thesis and Research Projects.

Belong to the Research Group REDE (Research in Economics, Business and the Environment).
